In the Cherokee County Arrest File for the previous 24 hours:

RONNIE MILLER, age 29 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by Centre Police on a charge of DUI/Driving Under the Influence;

JEREMY MCGATHA, age 32 from Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Attempting to Elude (two counts), Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with Intent to Distribute – and the Possession of Burglary Tools;

RACHEL BURLINGTON, age 35 of Anniston, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

And

FRANCES HOLLOWAY, age 37 from Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Failure to Appear on prior counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 116 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
