Rome, Georgia Restaurant Reportedly Robbed

Rome, Georgia Police are still investigating a report of an armed robbery that reportedly took place at the West Rome Dominoes Restaurant that’s on Shorter Avenue.  According to the incident report, just before 11:00pm last Wednesday an employee was returning from making a delivery when she was approached by a man – whom she said – stated “give me everything or I’ll kill you.”  Reportedly, that man was armed with a handgun and also what appeared to be a kitchen knife.

The victim gave the man some cash in her pocket.

Again, he demanded everything, and then he threatened to kill the victim before slamming her head into the door of her vehicle, then grabbing her cell phone and wallet; the suspect then told the victim to turn away from him and go into a grassy area away from the store, but she refused.

A co-worker then exited the store and then the suspect ran to his car and drove off.  Police were able to lift some fingerprints from the scene – and the investigation into the matter continues.
