A Georgia man was fatally injured on Monday, in a two-vehicle accident – taking place in Scottsboro.  That crash also injured two other people.

According to Scottsboro Police, the incident happened at the intersection of U.S. 72 and Walmart.  Scottsboro Police, Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Scottsboro’s Fire Department and Highlands Ambulance Service located the three subjects in the crash and two were taken to Highlands Medical Center – with one of those being treated for minor injuries.  Meanwhile, Steve Combs, 68 of Trenton, Georgia – was pronounced dead at the hospital.

That accident remains under investigation.
