In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

PRESTON BURT, age 21 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Theft of Property 1st Degree;

SHAUN BAILEY, age 45 of Piedmont was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Tampering with Physical Evidence;

STEPHANIE DAVIS, age 39 of Rainsville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear;

ERIC CRANE age 47 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear on the Following – No Driver’s License – Improper Lights – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana in the 1st Degree (two counts) – with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (two counts) – the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Operating a Vehicle without Insurance – and Having an Expired Tag;

JEREMY BLACKMON – age 43 of Gaylesville – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, charged with Failure to Appear on the previous count of Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree;

JASON SOUDER 50 of Cedartown, Georgia – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – also with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree,  Obstruction/False ID and Attempting to Elude;

ANNA GLAZE age 47 of Cedartown, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office and charged with – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

JEFFERY COUZZORT age 52 from Cedartown, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Unlawful Possession  of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

GARY ELDERS age 39 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Theft of Property 4th Degree;

JAMES SPIVEY, age 33 from Gaylesville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Theft of Property 4th Degree;

 FLOYD LOWMAN, age 35 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
