DONALD ANDERSON, 23 of Wilmington, North Carolina – was arrested by Leesburg Police and charged with Stalking 2nd Degree;
BARRY JAMES, age 44 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
TERRENCE JONES, age 35 from Gadsden arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with a Probation Revocation, and Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Obstruction of Justice
NATHAN DEATON, age 53 from Cedar Bluff arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance; also with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
BRANDON WYNN, age 44 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Criminal Trespass 1st Degree;
ASHLEY OGLETREE 39 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and was charged with 19 counts of Failure to Appear, on charges of Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Card;
JOHN HANEY, 52 of Gadsden was arrested by Centre Police – and charged with Failure to Appear/Theft of Property 4th Degree;
JOHN JACOBS, age 41 of Piedmont, arrested by Centre Police and charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Speeding;
HAYDEN MERRITT, age 29 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department – on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and with a count of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;
ERIC MOTES, 48 of Leesburg – was arrested by Centre Police and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – also with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Appear on the previous charges of DUI/Driving Under the Influence, and also Drivers License Not in Possession;
STACY DAWSON, age 53 of Gaylesville – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two Bond Revocations;
And
RIVER BORDERS, age 30 of Gadsden – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and also with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts).
Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 107 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
