A Chattooga County, Georgia man has been jailed – after he threatened to shoot employees at the Chattooga County Water District, on Old Highway 27 in Trion. According to reports made by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office William Shane Lowrance came to the Water District Office to make a complaint about his water bill.
Lowrance was said to have screamed obscenities – and also yelled at the employees; they reportedly attempted to appease him but he left yelling and cursing. Shortly thereafter, Lowrance returned to the scene and this time – he reportedly threatened to retrieve a gun – and then shoot one of the employees.
Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office Deputies soon arrived, and they placed Lowrance under arrest and charged him with terroristic threats and acts as well as disorderly conduct and he was then booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
