One person was injured, in a two-vehicle accident, taking place Thursday night around 10:45 in neighboring Etowah County.
According to Alabama State Trooper reports the mishap occurred on U.S. Highway 278 and involved a 1998 Dodge driven by a male from Rainbow City and a 2017 GMC, being driven by a female from Muscle Shoals.
Both drivers were only shaken up in the accident but a female passenger in the GMC, also from Muscle Shoals, was taken to an area Medical Center for treatment.
That wreck remains under investigation.
