It’s almost upon us; the McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club’s Special 6th Annual Field-to-Fork Celebration, honoring our local farmers, is THIS weekend.
The event will feature a number of activities, and that of course, includes DELICIOUS farm fresh food of all descriptions, as well as grilled and smoked meats.
There will also be live entertainment, vendors, exhibits, live auction and more; Dr. Landon Marks, County Extension Coordinator, will be the guest speaker.
Mattie Williams – along with Karen Bobo – both of whom are members of the Homemakers Club – recently paid a visit to the WEIS Radio studios to discuss this year’s event, which has grown considerably in size, and is set to offer more than ever before:
It’s guaranteed to be a fun-filled day with friends (both old AND new), for something to enjoy, and remember for a long-time to come!
We hope to see you there – at the special “Field-to-Fork” event THIS Saturday, Aug. 17, at 4pm at the Hopewell Community Center (located at 7290 County Road 16 in Centre).
