A 35-year-old Ohatchee man faces Murder charges – in connection to the death of his parents. 

Over the weekend, on Saturday, deputies of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 call from Taylor Road, located in the Calhoun County town of Ohatchee from a man saying that he had shot two people.  Deputies quickly arrived at the scene, and detained Tyler Sage Ferguson, who lived at the home. 

Deputies searched and found Ferguson’s father, Randall Ferguson – dead on the ground and found his mother, Debbie Ferguson on the back porch suffering from a gunshot wound.   She was transported to Gadsden Regional – where she later died.   Randall and Debbie Ferguson also lived at the home.

Currently, Tyler Ferguson is being held in the Calhoun County Jail on two Murder charges.
