On Social Media Tuesday, Piedmont Mayor Bill Baker said that there will be a “golf putting green located at the driving range near the Aquatic Center. We hope to have this finished very soon. I know that our golfers, PHS golf team, and others will enjoy. This was built by city employees and was paid for completely with grant money. Check it out. I will send a picture when completely finished. I’m not a golfer, but glad that the Mayor and City Council could make this happen.”
