In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

TY’TEONIA RIGBY, age 22 of Gadsden, was arrested by Centre Police and is On Hold for another agency;

PAIGE MCCOY age 36 from Dawson was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Stalking 2nd Degree;

RAYMOND BRAND age 56 from Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

RALPH SWAFFORD age 54 from Centre – arrested by Centre Police on the charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and also the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 115 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
