Alabama Nurse, Mother of Six, Killed in Georgia Crash

An Alabama woman died Wednesday following a collision with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 20 in Georgia.  Brandy Rodgers, age 39 of Oxford, died in that crash at 4:02pm.  The Georgia State Patrol said Rodgers was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to a GoFundMe page set up for the family’s expenses – Rodgers was driving home from a shift as a registered nurse when that crash took place.  She is survived by her husband, Jason, and their six children.

That accident remains under investigation.
