A Coosa, Georgia man was recently jailed on numerous counts of Identity Theft and Financial Transaction Card Fraud.
According to that arrest warrant, and Floyd County Jail records, 52-year-old Darrell Edward Collier used a card belonging to the victim in order to make 34 different transactions. Collier is also accused of locking himself in a bathroom on Dean Avenue, and refusing to come out.
Once at the jail – Collier was found with cocaine. He stands charged with, among other crimes, Theft by Taking, Theft by Deception, the Possession of Cocaine, the Possession of Drugs Past the Guard Line at the Jail – also, Criminal Trespass.
