Mayor Bill Baker of Piedmont was very excited about their new city trash truck that came Thursday. City officials plan to keep this truck 2 years and then trade it in on another new truck. This way we keep a good warranty on hand along with a fairly new truck.
On Wednesday, City officials were in Birmingham picking up our new dump truck. This vehicle will be replacing our 1991 dump truck that has seen better days.
