Woman Faces Multiple Charges Relating to Fire/Arson

A North Georgia woman was recently charged in connection with the fire that occurred back on March 31st on East Second Avenue in Lindale.

According to arrest warrants – 41-year-old Linda Ann Barnes threatened to light the victim’s residence on fire and then used kerosene to do so.

She was also reportedly cursing in the roadway before fleeing the scene.  The fire caused damage to two vehicles on the property, as well as power lines.

Barnes, of an Armuchee address has been charged with 1st Degree Arson, Possession of Tools for Commission of a Crime – Terroristic Threats and Acts – Disorderly Conduct and 2nd Degree Criminal Damage to Property.
