In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

TOMMY FARIST, age 59 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, on charges of Public Intoxication;

And

WENDY MEWBOURN, age 48 of Gadsden – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, also Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 96 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
