Cherokee County Arrest Files for Thursday, July 11th, 2024

In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

TOMMY FARIST, age 59 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Public Intoxication;

KIMBERLY FUNDERBURK, age 61 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

LAURA GREEN, 42 from Centre arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

AMY GREENWOOD-ELLISON, 46 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Larceny Theft 4th Degree;

JORDAN ROAN, 18 of Summerville, Georgia – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, on charges of Failure to Appear, on Previous Charges of Improper Lane Change – Improper Passing – Reasonable and Prudent Speed – also,  an Open Container Violation;

TIMOTHY WAITS, age 47 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree;

JAKE SKUSE, 35 from Leesburg arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

KRISTI MERTEL, age 56 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Revoked Bond (4 counts);

CARL CRABTREE age 40 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence;

MICHAEL SHARP age 35 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and he was charged with Failure to Appear/Driving While Suspended;

And

JOHN SPRAYBERRY, 44 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and charged with Failure to Appear – on the previous counts of Switched Tag x2 – an Insurance Violation – Driving While License Suspended, and  Driving While Suspended – and also with Reckless Endangerment and an Attempt to Elude.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 102 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
