In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

NICHOLAS JONES, age 31 of Centre – was arrested by Centre Police on the charge of Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree;

WILLIAM KUTSCH, age 24 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with (two counts) of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and one count each of the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI/Driving Under the Influence-Any Substance;

GRETA WASHINGTON, 56 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with (two counts) of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and one count each for the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

And

CAROLYN WHITE, age 66 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Reckless Endangerment, and Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Driving With Suspended License.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 91 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
