Cherokee County Commission Planning Session

The Monday meeting of the Cherokee County Commission was somewhat brief, and to the point – with several items being dealt with.

During the Planning Session:

Diane Chasteen, with the Health Department – discussed items regarding actions taken locally, including a large number of important restrictions and changes now ready to be put in place – and designed to serve county residents better than ever.

That session also included, discussion and action, regarding matters that specifically concerned the proposed project, being initiated by one of the area’s well most decorated and also widely-known combat veterans, that being David Hartline – one that would feature the creation of a Memorial Wall that would be in honor of Cherokee County’s finest.

The wall would recognize all those serving in the military from Cherokee County – from World War I, all the way up to Modern Day.

Regarding the matters – the Commission said that they’d take everything under advisement and follow up soon.
