Mr. Travis Keith James, age 71 of Centre, passed away July 07, 2024 at Brookwood Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held 6PM Tuesday, July 09, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:30PM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Jimmy St. Clair, Jimmy Griffith, Andy Ellis, Daniel Johnson, Charlie Hunter, Mack Hunter, Don Rochester and Rob Bandini. Honorary Pallbearers will include Employees of Cherokee Milling, Benard Tucker, Tommy Loder and Monday Night Poker Club.
He is survived by his wife, Pam James; daughters, Haley Trammell (Tim) and Kacy Lemons; brother, David James (Cindy); sister, Suzanne Bishop (Tracy); grandchildren, Blake Wright, Ty Trammell and AJ Lemons.
Mr. James was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Travis and Anna Jane James. He was a member of Centre First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Centre First United Methodist Church or Summit’s Sanctuary.
