In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

DUSTY ROGERS, age 38 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on the charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

JON-KEVON CORDLE, age 37 of Rome, Georgia arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police and is On Hold for Another Agency;

KENNETH FERGUSON, 52 from Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on Previous Charges of Breaking & Entering a Vehicle, Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft of Property 1st Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree,

SKYLAR KIRK, age 30 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Centre Police on the charges of Bail Jumping 2nd Degree and On Hold for Another Agency;

JEREMIAH ELKINS, age 33 of Leesburg was arrested by Centre Police on a charge of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

TINA HARTLINE, age 45 of Gaylesville – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bond Revocation;

TIMOTHY WAITS, age 47 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on the charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

ANTHONY FUNK, age 37 of Catskaine, Oregon – arrested by Centre Police, on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree and Harassment;

And

JOSEPH BUTTS, age 44 from Centre, arrested by Centre Police on charges of Failure to Appear/Theft of Property 4th Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 93 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
