In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

DEREK PARKS, age 35 of Gadsden – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
