In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

LAURA WHEAT, age 59 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on charges of the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

CODY AYCOCK, age 31 of Gaylesville – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on a Probation Revocation, Failure to Display Insurance and also with Failure to Appear/Driving While Suspended;

DONALD FLAKES, age 44 from Auburn – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear/Harassment;

APRIL HOOPER age 40 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Conditional Release Violation;

STEPHANIE DAVIS age 39 from Rainsville – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear/for Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

DOUGLAS ANDERSON, 52 from Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – for Failure to Appear/the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

JOHN SNYDER, age 56 from Centre arrested by Centre Police and charged with a SORNA (Sex Offender Registration Notification Act) Violation;

And

CHARLES SNEAD age 44 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 87 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
