Georgia Prison Inmate Indicted By Chattooga County Grand Jury

A 31-year-old Georgia Department of Corrections inmate was indicted by the Chattooga County Grand Jury, after allegations that he participated in bringing methamphetamine into Hays State Prison in Trion.

Shondrez Daniels, who has been incarcerated since 2016, is serving time for armed robbery, stemming from an incident in Clayton County back in 2014. Daniels was indicted by a grand jury for the unlawful possession of methamphetamine, trafficking in methamphetamine, and the possession of contraband inside a state prison.

The Georgia Department of Corrections – lists Daniels as currently being incarcerated at Hancock State Prison.   He was scheduled for release in 2026.
