In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

EMANUEL KISER, age 47 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and the Theft of Property 3rd Degree;

BARRY CAVIN, age 54 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on Manufacture of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

KEVIN MCMURRAY, age 42 of Piedmont arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on the charges of Failure to Appear on prior charges of a Probation Revocation, and also for Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree (two counts);

And

CASEY STOWE, age 36 of Gadsden – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, for Failure to Appear on previous charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 81 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
