The Floyd County, Georgia Police Department – is currently investigating the death of an individual, whose body was discovered just outside of his home on Barker Road.  According to Public Affairs Officer Mike Bell – the victim – described as a white male that had apparently been stabbed, was found by the neighbor – who then notified authorities.

That case is being investigated as a Homicide.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a subject, that would’ve been on foot in the area of Barker Road between 10:00 Monday night and 1:00 Tuesday morning.  Anyone who is a resident in the area with either surveillance or doorbell cameras, that show the roadway along Barker – and between Barker and Beech Creek along the Alabama Highway – you’re encouraged to contact Sgt.
