According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, recently Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies and school resource officers attended the Virta Training Program – led by Emergency Response Team (ERT) Commander Stephen Hooks.
Virtra Training is a comprehensive simulation program – specialized for law enforcement. Sheriff Shaver stated “This machine builds intense and realistic simulation solutions, so we can prepare for the unexpected, and the communities we serve can remain safe.”
Sheriff Shaver would like to also thank, the “Jacksonville State University Center for Applied Forensics” for hosting these training sessions.
