One person was fatally injured in a two-vehicle accident – taking place in Etowah County early Saturday.  According to the Alabama State Troopers Post, at around 7:00am on Alabama Highway 77 – a two-vehicle collision sent one person to the hospital and claimed the life of the other driver.

The driver of a 2022 Ford – a male from Eclectic, Alabama – was hurt and he was sent to an area hospital while the male driver of the other vehicle – a 2012 Toyota – was killed in the crash. 

He was listed as a resident of Oxford.
