Two DeKalb County residents were involved in a two-vehicle wreck here in Cherokee County on Tuesday.

According to the State Troopers Post the crash took place on Highway 35 at approximately 3:45pm and involved a 2023 Hyundai being driven by a female from Fort Payne, and a 2017 Nissan driven by a male resident of a Valley Head address.

According to the Alabama State Trooper reports – that female driver did require treatment however the male driver of the other vehicle was only shaken up in the mishap.

That wreck remains under investigation.
