An East Rome resident – named on the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted list – was arrested recently.

According to Floyd County Jail records arrest warrants 27-year-old Tyler Austin Nichols pointed a gun at a man after punching him several times – on Highway 411 near the connector.  The victim sustained a black eye, and swelling to the side of his face from being punched.

Nichols was charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Crime, Reckless Conduct, Battery, and a Probation Violation.
