During the Tuesday afternoon City of Centre Council Meeting, in the Mayors Comments: Mayor Mansfield congratulated Mr. Robert Pace for becoming the City of Centre’s new Fire Marshall. Pace, was Interim Fire Chief since June 2023. He told WEIS RADIO, he is very appreciative with this opportunity in his hometown of Centre and Cherokee County. His motivation for his job is preserving life and property. He is also a 12 year Veteran of the United States Army.
Fire Marshall Pace, has been married to his wife Sonya for 18 years and they have a daughter Deanna. Pace, is a graduate of Cherokee County High School. His hobbies are hunting, fishing and all sports. Congratulations again, to Fire Marshall Pace.
