In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

DAMON WICKHAM, age 61 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department – charged with Failure to Appear on the prior charges of Expired Tag, Speeding and an Insurance Violation;

MICHAEL HOLCOMB, age 54 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Conditional Release Violation;

GARY COUCH, age 47 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree, and also Attempting to Elude;

And

ZACHARY NELSON, age 29 from Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Invalid Insurance.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
