Mr. Rayburn Delano Stone, age 91 of Centre, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Riverview Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held 3 PM Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Nation officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Jason Gregory, Blake Chambers, Jim Price, Randy Tucker, Claude Robertson, Gaylon Hammitt, Ben Helams and Renae Coley. Honorary Pallbearers will include, Michael Priest, Phil Powell, Dr. Barton Perry, Dr. BJ Patel and Dr. Richard Caldwell.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Morrow (Bob); great niece, Julie Gregory; great-great nieces, Olivia, Madelyn & Emily; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Davis Stone; daughter, Karen Stone; son, Steven Ray Stone; sisters, Ollie Mae Bradberry & Kathy Price; nephew, Gary Price.

Mr. Stone was a native of DeKalb County, was the son of the late Clarence and Ola Mae Stone, and was a member of First Baptist Church Centre.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the 1st Baptist Church Building Fund.
