GAYLESVILLE – The Gaylesville Lady Trojans scored nine first inning runs on their way to a 12-2 softball rout of visiting Asbury on Thursday.
Emma Givens and Lydia Reynolds led the Lady Trojans with 3-for-4 performances at the plate. Givens doubled, scored two runs and had four RBIs. Reynolds scored two runs and drove in another.
Jayden Dobbins delivered a pair of doubles, two runs and two RBIs. Bayleigh Ratliff was 2-for-2 with two walks, a run and a RBI. Gracelynn Drake tripled, walked and scored two runs. Aubrie Peek had a hit and two RBIs.
