COLLINSVILLE – Trailing by as many as four runs early, the Collinsville Lady Panthers rallied past Fyffe 9-8 in area softball action on Thursday. The Lady Panthers also defeated Gaston by the final of 13-9.

In the win over Fyffe, Aubrey Reeves delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the first inning to give the Lady Panthers a 5-4 lead. Ella Coker went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in a run. Lexii Burt homered in the bottom of the fourth inning. Aidyn Cruz singled and scored a run. Karly Middlebrooks drove in a run. Emily Petty walked three times and drove in a run.

In the win over Gaston, Collinsville scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 10-7 advantage.

Reeves and Burt belted three hits apiece. Emily Petty went 2-for-3. Bella Wills doubled and scored a run. Gabriella Whitmore singled and walked twice. Coker was 1-for-3 with a run and a RBI. Jemma Smith walked and scored a run for the Lady Panthers.
