Worth the Wait is on the rise, and group member Mia Matthews just advanced to the next round ABC’s American Idol.
In Sunday’s episode, the 19-year-old singer from Centre learned she would move on, while unfortunately, her younger sister Jacy would not.
Then, on Monday night, it was revealed that Mia would advance to compete in the Top 24, following her outstanding performance of Loretta Lynn’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough.”
American Idol is one of America’s hottest TV shows and it’s an incredible showcase for those who are up and coming in the music field.
Worth the Wait is a harmony driven group out of Cherokee County made up of mother Tara Matthews and her daughters, Mia and Jacy, that has been performing together for more than fifteen years.
Their first album, Vinyl Revival, was released in June of 2022 before quickly climbing the iTunes country charts.
The trio previously competed on Season 19 of NBC’s The Voice.
