According to the Food and Drug Administration, the company John B Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. has issued a recall of containers of the brand Great Value’s Honey Roasted Cashews. The product reportedly contains coconut and milk, which is not declared on the packaging.

The FDA said a consumer first reported finding coconut cashews inside a tin labeled Great Value Honey Roasted Cashews. Upon investigation, officials discovered that several containers of coconut cashews had been incorrectly labeled honey roasted during manufacturing.

The affected product comes in an 8.25 oz plastic can with a blue label and has a best by date of Jul. 8, 2025, which can be found on the bottom of the can.

The cans were sold in Walmart stores in 30 states:

The FDA advises consumers to discard the recalled product or to return it to a Walmart store for a refund.
