Kyle, Henderson’s production at the plate help lead Cedar Bluff softball past Sand Rock

SAND ROCK – Za’Niya Kyle homered, doubled, scored two runs and drove in four more to lead the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers to an 18-4 softball win in five innings at Sand Rock on Thursday.

Anna Henderson was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a pair of doubles, a walk, three runs and a RBI. Blakelea Hall went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, three runs and two RBIs. Rylie Walker was 2-for-4 with a triple, a run and a RBI. Kaylyn Vadon also went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, two runs and two RBIs.

Anslee Evans was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, two runs and a RBI. Kylie Vadon finished 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs and a RBI.

Hall earned the win in the circle for the Lady Tigers (3-0). She worked all five innings, giving up an earned run on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts.

Aliyah King and Emma Thompson both doubled, scored and run and had a RBI apiece for Sand Rock (1-2). Katelyn St.Clair added a hit and scored a run. Macy Martin also scored a run.

Emma Sipsy took the loss for the Lady Wildcats. She finished with four strikeouts.
