Cedar Bluff pounds out 15 hits in 17-6 baseball win at Coosa, Ga.

COOSA, Ga. – The Cedar Bluff Tigers pounded out 15 hits on Saturday and evened their baseball record with a 17-6 win at Coosa, Ga.

Kaden Pack led the Tigers (1-1) at the plate by going 3-for-5 with a triple, a double, a walk, two runs and three RBIs. Isaac Bishop went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, a run and three RBIs. Dylan McDaniel and Samson Mallett were both 2-for-3. McDaniel had a pair of walks and three runs. Mallett managed two runs and three RBIs.

Bryson Teague tallied a double, a walk, two runs and two RBIs. Samuel Payne doubled, scored a run and drove in another. Hunter Stallings had a hit with three walks and three runs. Caleb Edmondson had a hit and a RBI. Warren Wallace went 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs. Isaac Roberts finished with a walk and a run.

Kolwyn Morrison picked up the win on the mound after working three innings of no-hit ball. He gave up three earned runs and a pair of walks with three strikeouts.

Eli McFry also worked three innings and gave up three earned runs on two hits with a walk and four strikeouts. Stallings tossed an inning with a strikeout.

Cedar Bluff hosts Glencoe on Tuesday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
