In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

PLEAS EDWARDS, age 50 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Leesburg Police Department – charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

DOYLE FORD, age 59 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Alias Writ of Arrest/DUI/Alcohol;

CHRISTOPHER KILGRO, age 49 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with the Failure to Appear/Insurance Fraud 1st Degre

THOMAS MOTEN, age 31 of Centre, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Failure to Appear/Driving while Revoked;

RUDY MILLS, age 48 of Piedmont, was arrested by Centre Police, charged with Failure to Appear/Resisting Arrest;

GERALD MOTEN, age 64 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on a previous count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

DARREN TERRY – age 28 of Leesburg – arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a Bond Revocation – Failure to Appear/Display of Invalid Insurance – and Failure to Appear/Driving while License Cancelled;

And

MELINDA KEASLER, 37 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 86 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
