Mrs. Bobbie Joan Baker, age 86 of Centre, passed away February 10, 2024 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, February 13th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Dale officiating, burial will follow in Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen Baker and Mark Baker; grandchildren, Shauna Carothers (Ben) and Haley Baker; great grandchildren, Clara Jane Carothers, Jack Wyatt Carothers and Joni Alice Carothers; special friends, Pat & Jerry Lockridge, Linda Compton and Linda Carol Hardin.
Pallbearers will include Neal Compton, Jay Jordan, Jed Lockridge, Tony Mackey, Jason Dawson and Greg Bomian. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Lockridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Baker; sisters, Sarah Thornton, Doris Formby and Annie Lou Potts.
Ms. Baker was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late John and Carrie Smith and she was a member of Fairview Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
