Mr.Michael Chesnut, age 72 of Sand Rock passed away Sunday February 4th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday February 10th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Todd Stimpson, Lowell Johnson, Anthony Shaw, Jamie Hightower, Stacy Arthur and Randy Higgins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Anderson and Danny Bone.
Survivors include son, Heath Chesnut; sisters, Gloria (Donnie) Inman and Cheryl (Steve) Tucker; grandchildren, Kynleigh Chesnut and Carson Chesnut; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Chesnut was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Ted and Juanita Chesnut and was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Chesnut.
