In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

CHRISTOPHER ALFORD, 52 of Leesburg, arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest – and with Attempting to Elude;

HAZEL TUCKER – age 43 from Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree;

TAMMY AYCOCK, age 53 of Gaylesville was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police Department – charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree;

CLAYTON PARRIS, age 33 of Piedmont, placed under arrest by the Cedar Bluff Police Department, on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Tampering with Evidence;

MEGAN HARDIN – age 24 of Lyerly, Georgia – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on the charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
