FREEPORT, Fla. – Libby Brown sank seven 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead the Spring Garden Lady Panthers past Nolensville (Tenn.) 56-21 in the Freeport Hilton Sandestin Beach Bash on Thursday.
Ace Austin added 21 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for the Lady Panthers. Maggie Jarrett collected 12 points, four boards, two assists and two steals.
Spring Garden led throughout the game. The Lady Panthers held a 17-9 advantage at the end of the first quarter and built a 33-13 edge at halftime. Spring Garden went on a 19-3 third quarter run to take a 52-16 lead.
The Lady Panthers continue tournament play on Friday.
