In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

BRENDA WESTBROOK, age 55 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Terroristic Threats 2nd Degree;

ROBIN GORE, age 34 of Powder Springs was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest;

JUSTIN NORRIS, age 36 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Failure to Appear on a Bond Revocation and a Bench Warrant/Bond Revocation;

And

MATTHEW GUNGER, 62 from Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department – on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
