On Saturday, December 9, 2023, Nellie Fay Wilkerson Parker passed away peacefully in her home. Born on May 5, 1930, she lived a full life of 93 years.

Mrs. Parker was a member of Mt Vernon Baptist Church and enjoyed her friends in the quilting group. She was a talented needle worker.

She and her belated husband, Elbert, were blessed with a large family. Her children, Kenneth Parker (Patricia), Elbert Parker, Jr (Mary Ann), the late Donnie Parker (Ann), Rita Parker Garrett (the late Donnie), Ronald Parker(Diane), Kathy Parker Wadsworth (Garry), Angie Parker Bennett (Donnie), the late Benny Parker (Betty), Terry Parker (Debra), Mickey Parker had a wealth of beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

Mrs. Parker was also preceded in death by two infant children, Randall & Patricia Ann.

She was the daughter of the late Milton & Laura Wilkerson.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses and friends who showed Mrs. Parker love and care over the past months.

Visitation will be held at Perry Funeral Home, Monday, December 11th, from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at Mt Vernon Baptist Church Tuesday, December 12th at 2PM, Mrs. Parker will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00 pm till the time of service, with graveside service immediately following at Mt Vernon Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted.
