JIMMY LAPIER, age 46 of Piedmont, arrested by the CHEROKEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE on the charges of THEFT OF PROPERTY 4TH DEGREE, CRIMINAL TRESPASS 3RD DEGREE, THE UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, WITH THE UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA and THE UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA 2nd DEGREE;

JON KING, age 25 of a LEESBURG address arrested by the CENTRE POLICE DEPARTMENT and charged with Failure to Appear BOATING WITHOUT A LIFE JACKET and Failure to Appear DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

MICHELLE MCCULLOUGH, 43 of Fort Payne – was arrested by the CENTRE POLICE DEPT on charges of Failure to Appear on the previous charges of UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – and the Failure to Appear on a charge of THEFT OF PROPERTY 4th DEGREE

THOMAS BRADLEY, 56 from GAYLESVILLE was arrested by CEDAR BLUFF POLICE and charged with DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

NICHOLAS SILVERS, age 40 of GAYLESVILLE, arrested by CENTRE POLICE on charges of Failure to Appear on the previous counts of an INSURANCE VIOLATION, EXPIRED LICENSE and NO PLAINLY VISIBLE TAG

BRETT LAWLESS, 24 from RAINSVILLE arrested by the LEESBURG POLICE DEPT on charges of DUI/ALCOHOL

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
