GERALDINE – In the Liberty Bank Basketball Invitational at Geraldine on Tuesday, the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats fell short against Class 5A Boaz 42-40.
Katelyn St.Clair led the Lady Wildcats (4-1) with 21 points, including three 3-pointers, and three assists. Zoey Handy added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Kennedy Henderson finished with 11 boards.
Sand Rock plays Fort Payne in the tournament on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
