Two area high school football teams’ seasons came to an end Thursday night in first round playoff action.
In Class 1A, the Cedar Bluff Tigers fell at Wadley 62-10. Carter Dillingham connected on a 40-yard field goal in the first half, in which the Tigers trailed 41-3. Carson Webb scored Cedar Bluff’s only touchdown late in the game for the final. The Tigers’ season ends at 5-6.
In Class 2A, Collinsville was defeated by Southeastern of Remlap by the final of 28-21. The Panthers conclude their season at 8-3.
