HUNTSVILLE – Spring Garden, Cedar Bluff, Sand Rock, Piedmont and Cherokee County are all preparing for volleyball’s North Super Regional in Huntsville. Tournament play begins Wednesday and continues through Friday at the Von Braun Center.
Admission is $10 per day. Tickets must be purchased online at www.gofan.com.
The top four teams from each class will qualify for next week’s state tournament at the Birmingham Crossplex (Oct. 31-Nov. 2).
In the Class 3A North Super Regional, Piedmont opens with Danville at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. Class 2A Sand Rock takes on Mars Hill at 11:30 a.m.
Then on Thursday, Class 4A Cherokee County battles Cordova and Spring Garden opens 1A play against Jefferson Christian. Both of those matches begin at 10:15 a.m. Class 1A Cedar Bluff takes on Sumiton Christian at 11:30 a.m.
